No truth to the rumor that this is actually one of MJ's concert-worn gloves.

In July of 2009, people all across the globe mourned the loss of the “King of Pop,” Michael Jackson. After his death, people sought to find their own way to honor Michael Jackson and the work he did. In February, Kenwood also honored Michael Jackson in its own way.
Juniors Matthew Robinson and Karisa Mahon orchestrated Kenwood’s Michael Jackson Tribute show. Members of the student body came together despite other responsibilities and activities to pull off this significant event, which included fine performances and displayed various spectacular talents.
The show featured a wide array of performances, including: singing, dancing, drums, keyboards, and even tap dancing. A diverse group of students strived to illustrate their appreciation for Michael Jackson and how he has influenced their lives.
“I think the show was a great representation of Kenwood’s appreciation for Michael Jackson,” said Senior LaKeenya Joyner. “The work and time that was put into the show shined through in the performances.”
Joyner’s opinion was shared by many other students.
“I can’t find anything I didn’t like about the show…although I do wish my favorite song ‘Smooth Criminal’ was performed,” said Senior Ahmad Patterson.
Overall, these talented students put on an exhilarating show, allowing the audience to reminisce about their favorite legend Michael Jackson. The Tribute brought many in the audience back to the days when their favorite MJ oldies hit the spot, exactly as it should have.
